Maybe you've seen the stories. "Club xxx who sold their ground and are now sharing with club yyy have had planning permission for their new ground in zzz refused" It has happened to big club, small clubs tiny clubs and clubs who don't exist any more. Clubs somehow end up homeless and can't find a home. That's mine. They got planning permission. But something happened. I started following Cambridge City when it was clear they would have to leave their old ground, and have followed their search for a new ground with some interest. So far I've seen one play-off defeat, three managers, one applications for planning permission, one judicial review, one appear of the judicial review, one relegation and at the end of all this? We are still homeless, and no further forward in the search for a new ground than we were 3 years ago. This blog tells that tale.
